Company Overview
Robert and Betty Locke started buying houses in North Atlanta 25 years ago. After running out of money they started listing properties for sale as a Realtor and finding properties for investor clients. They learned the rental business by the seat of their pants and started managing for others out of their basement in 1980. As the business grew Robert joined professional associations to expand his knowledge of the business and built a competent staff to service the investor client. To grow Crown acquired 9 other property management companies and inherited properties all over the Atlanta. In 2002 Crown was managing 750 houses, duplexes, condo's, and town homes and was stretched beyond its capacity to give the kind of service its customers had grown to expect. After much consideration Crown initiated a substantial downsizing to its original territory of North Atlanta and 400 single family homes. Crown retained the best staff during its reduction and now focuses its efforts in the North Atlanta Area. With 25 years of house buying and managing experience Robert began teaching in 1990. Now an accredited school with the Georgia Real Estate Commission Crown is sharing its knowledge and experience with investors and other realtors. To keep up with the market Crown has assembled a team of talented professionals in the listing, selling, managing, buying and training side of the business. Crown's staff has every academic credential the industry offers and is recognized by the Atlanta real estate industry as the company to go to for all aspects of investing in real estate.
